Carolyn Preston is a Certified Personal Trainer and owner of Future Physique Westlake. Specializing in core strength, functional training, weight loss and sport specific training, she also offers full Marathon and Triathlon training programs as well as personal training via the Internet. She offers over 20 years experience in the fitness industry.
Carolyn holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, and is certified by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), AABS (American Academy of Body Sculpting), and Los Angeles Pierce College.
Carolyn regularly attends fitness workshops and seminars to stay current on emerging trends and changes in the health and fitness industry.
Carolyn is an accomplished marathon runner and triathlete having completed over 40 marathons, 5 triathlons and receiving top acclaim and National Ranking among female marathon runners. She recently competed in the IRONMAN ARIZONA which is believed to be the most grueling of all athletic events!
Lisa Statner, Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator

Lisa Statner is a Registered Dietitian that works with the clients of Future Physique Westlake who are in need of nutritional assistance.
She graduated from San Diego State University with a BS in Nutrition and went on to receive her Masters Degree from Cal State Northridge in Nutrition. Lisa is also a Certified Diabetes Educator; she lectures on a variety of different wellness topics and is a regular contributor to several different fitness publications including “Muscle and Fitness Hers” and “Coping”. Lisa has published a low-fat cookbook that will be released in the fall of 2005.

Joe Discullo is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), ACE (American Council on Exercise) and USWLA (United Weight Lifting Association-Sport Specific Training).
Joe graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology where he also played Division 1 Basketball.
Joe specializes in weight loss; sport specific training; core training; and functional strength training. Joe has been in the fitness industry for over 6 years. Joe also specializes in obesity and has helped several of his clients lose over 100 lbs!

Phil McNamee is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Phil managed the 24 hour fitness training team in Thousand Oaks, California and has worked in the fitness industry since 1997. He specializes in obesity; sport specific training and is a Post Rehabilitation Specialist with specific focus on the back, neck, shoulder and knees.
Phil is an avid athlete who spends much of his free time running, swimming, biking and training for triathlons. Phil stays current on rehabilitation specialties and current fitness trends by regularly attending fitness workshops and seminars.
Phil’s favorite movie is “Napoleon Dynamite”.

Steve Carver is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Steve has been training clients since 1991. He specializes in functional training, sport specific training and weight loss. Steve regularly attends fitness workshops and seminars to stay current on emerging trends and changes in the health and fitness industry.
Steve won first place in the National Fitness Competition in Redondo Beach, Ca and regularly competes in the Urban Challenge Races where he is known as a top competitor. In his free time, Steve is into rollerblading, skiing and skimboarding.
Gus Guardino, Certified Strength and Speed Development Specialist

Gus Guardino began his coaching career at his alma mater, Crespi Carmelite High School, of Encino, Ca. in 1973. As an assistant Track & Field and Football coach, Gus began to build the foundation for what has now become Evolution Athletics. A certified Strength and Speed Development Specialist and Personal Fitness Professional, Gus holds a degree in Biomechanics from California State University Northridge. He also holds advanced certifications from the NSCA, USA Weightlifting and USA Track & Field.
As an athletic performance specialist and fitness professional he has been afforded the unique opportunity to work at both ends of the training continuum. The effectiveness of Gus’ work is measured by the success of the athletes he has trained. He has been instrumental in the development of numerous high school and collegiate Track and Field athletes, including a former Olympic champion. Gus has also been a major contributor in the development of numerous collegiate and NFL football players, as well as world class athletes from other disciplines.
However, by his own admission, his most gratifying achievements have come from his work with the injured, the elderly, and the everyday fitness enthusiast. Gus’ passion for Biomechanics has enabled him to become a highly respected professional in the area of preventative and post-operative rehabilitative therapy. His knowledge and expertise in the areas of postural alignment, gait re-education and training, and joint kinematics have enabled him to become a valuable resource in both the medical and personal fitness community.
In addition to fulfilling his duties as Strength and Conditioning coach at Moorpark High School, Gus currently serves as President of Evolution Athetics, where he ensures that the company lives up to the high standard of professionalism on which it was founded. Evolution Athletics is committed to providing the most comprehensive Strength and Speed Development program: available for any athlete in any sport, to decrease the athletes potential for injury, and to motivate them to achieve their goals through education.

Aly is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and has over 12 years experience in the fitness industry.
Aly attended Cal State University Northride where she earned a BA in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Medicine and an MS in Health Administration. Aly was also a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer responsible for the care and prevention of athletic injuries as well as reconditioning programs.
Specializing in weight loss/management, post-rehabilitation, fitness conditioning, and beginning to advanced program design and consulting, Aly’s mission is to help individuals of all ages enhance and improve their health and fitness while achieving their goals. She also strives to inspire behavior and lifestyle changes for healthier living.
An avid runner and triathlete for over 15 years, Aly is also a coach and member of Transcend Racing, a local triathlon club.
